Whenever companies poke fun of competitors in commercials or advertisements, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. If the commercial simply points out flaws in the other product, anything can be made out to look bad. I often gravitate towards companies who do not use this tactic. If the commercial was spent telling the customer about how good a mac computer was it would have been much more productive and probably would attract more attention. Creating negative feelings about a competitor can leave the viewer in a somewhat sour mood, and I believe that positive feelings trump negative feelings 100% of the time. Therefore, I think that mac is making a mistake making a commercial like this.
